Give /Prepared a green colour and you have /g again ^^

I'd also like to ask Dave not to mute /g, please.

But no ex members who want to stay in touch can read g chat, so why would you want to separate them? Just have one channel 'Prepared', turn the chat settings to green! I'm trying to keep people in touch here, why have the other chat? I dare say there are now more people you don't know in guild chat than there are in the Prepared chat channel.

To be honest I was only the guild open as a convenience - a guild tag for alts/stay-ons, a bank, and to stop the name falling into the wrong hands.

I have no interest in any revamp of Prepared the guild itself unless I'm in there actively leading the guild. I took a lot on when I started Prepared with you guys and managed it for the last 3 years, the way I wanted to do it and I feel I've done that well and given us a good name. Yes we all wanted a new guild, but I was the one who over time who took the plunge and shouldered the heaviest burden. So I hope you understand why I feel that I 'own' the guild and want to control it.

But as I said, I'm not there to do that.

If you want to recreate a community then I suggest you do go for a new guild so you can control it all yourself. You might find it a lot of fun!

So to clear it up, as a commnuity/functioning guild - Prepared (THE IN GAME GUILD) has 'disbanded'. If you want a guild tag and access to a few bank tabs, then it's there to use. /join Prepared for the best of both worlds. The website will stay up as long is it gets used (I'll pay for it), and the same goes for Ventrilo (again, I'll pay)

Good idea tbh, Dave is right - the channel is more active than /g is at the moment and if /g is silenced then it'll get people to talk in /prepared all the time instead of having two channels to greet. I don't really see what benefit keeping /g will have. My reasons for wanting to stay in the guild are more avoiding the joinguild spam and some of the guild notes for alts I can't remember who plays (memory like a seive). Then if more people are on I can see who the bejesus it is!

Guess I'll give the channel a green color and see how it all works out.
Now, how do I change the color of a channel?
